Tulear Ammonite Whole
Ammonites are the fossilized remains of an extinct squid-like animal with an external chambered shell. Metaphysically associated with abundance, guidance along life's path, and personal, psychic, and spiritual development; aligning and balancing the chakra system, detecting and releasing energy blocks, clearing the meridians and nadi (“chakra channels”); spiritual protection, space clearing, and blessing a home.
I had only passing interaction with ammonites and other fossils before I met Christopher. I used ammonites for sleep/dream time work and used to have one in my pillow case. However, I went through an ugly kundalini misfiring not long after Chris began to work for ETE and he helped me to clear it up through the use of ammonites and other fossils. We've since integrated ammonites and other fossils into pocket sets and grids with really tremendous results.
This ammonite comes from the Morondava River Basin, near the town of Sakaraha, in the Atsimo-Andrefana region of southwest Madagascar, located in the former province of Toliara/Tuléar. They date from the Late Jurassic period, Oxfordian age (~161 to 156 million years ago).
It weighs approximately 1.9 lb., and measures 5 3/4 X 4 1/2 X 2".
