Citrine

Citrine is any quartz cluster that is yellow or amber to brown, and it has a hardness of 7. Citrine was used as a gem in Greece as far back as 300 BC and was worked into cabochon rings. Much commercial citrine is heat treated amethyst, but our citrine is natural from either Madagascar or Brazil.

Citrine is one of the only stones that dissipates negative energy and promotes optimism. It is known as the merchant’s stone and should be placed in a cash register in order to acquire and maintain positive wealth.
