I did a Crystal Whisper reading on this skull to juice out some of the more specific themes associated with the work it wants to assist.  I pulled: Earth System Worker, Ancestral/Extended Family Ties, Understanding & Comprehension, Awareness & Observation, and Mental Body Worker.

I interpret this in a few ways.  It clearly is a system worker in a few ways, both the Earth Systems and Ancestral systems.  That suggest support navigating various weaves of consciousness.  The other cards are associated with perceptual shifting, being able to understand something from multiple directions, which always assists in upgrading your awareness to a much larger scope.  If you are the keeper of this skull, please cut and paste the reading to your files before purchasing because once the listing is sold, the description isn't available anymore.

The name “girasol” is given to stones that display a misty opalescence or a floating glow similar to moonstone’s adularescence.  The name comes from a Venetian glass called girasole (Italian, “turn to the sun”) invented to replicate opals, colored blue and gold by the Rayleigh scattering of light like opalite.  Just as there are star rubies, garnets, and diopsides, the girasol effect may be found in opals, sapphires, and this white variety of Madagascan rose quartz.  Girasol quartz comes from the same mines as rose quartz and may also display asterism.  According to current theories rose quartz is colored pink by a previously unknown mineral called “dididumortierite”.  The cause of the white color in girasol quartz is debated.  Since “dididumortierite” can lose its pink color when heated, it may be caused by exposure to underground magmatic activity.

Metaphysically, Girasol is a "Sacred Union" and polarity balance crystal.  It's name means "turn to the sun", but it is also called "moon quartz", so it is associated with both solar and lunar energies.  When it is in shadow, it looks like a glowing white color and when it is lifted to the light, it has a slight golden glow.  I'm still amazed that it's not more popular in the healing community as we are all on the path of integrating masculine and feminine energies and qualities for wholeness.  Plus, the balance needed between the masculine and feminine, in general... dude, it's an epic readjustment that we need super hard.

Nader Kawar, owner of Enter the Earth, is a crystal skull connoisseur. Over the years he has made it a mission to produce some of the most anatomically correct crystal skull carvings on the market.  Our "high definition" skulls are among the most highly sought by true crystal skull enthusiasts because each one is an individual work of art.  The high definition skulls are labor intensive, individually carved, and use the most beautiful raw stone materials possible.

Crystal skulls represent many things to many people.  Museums around the world display a variety of crystal skull carvings that are considered to be ancient artifacts.  However, there is great debate about the age and origin of the crystal skulls, which were first documented in the 19th and early 20th century.  Unlike organic materials, there is no reliable test to date the manufacture of stone objects.  Whatever their true origin, they have become symbols in both popular culture and modern spirituality, representing ancient wisdom, the ancestors, and attained human enlightenment and higher consciousness/mind.
