Rose Quartz Crystal Skull Pendant
You will receive one small rose quartz crystal skull pendant with white metal bail from this batch. They vary slightly. They weigh approximately 0.01 - 0.02 v lbs. They measure approximately 3/4" long, 1/2" wide, and 3/4" tall where the bail meets its anchor.
There is much speculation about the age and origin of the artifacts known as the crystal skulls, quartz carvings in the shape of a human skull. Unlike organic matter, there is no reliable test to date the manufacture of stone objects.
Recent analysis has revealed modern tool markings on some of them, suggesting they may only originate from the late 19th and early 20th century. However they could also be ancient carvings altered later. Others interpret these findings differently, especially in the metaphysical community, as evidence of more advanced technology historically.
Whatever their actual origin, they have become symbols in both popular culture and modern spirituality. We were lucky enough to host one of them at Enter the Earth. Max the crystal skull, JoAnn Parks, and their team visited us on October 19th and 20th, 2012. We took all the skulls from our retail store and wholesale warehouse to “Max-ify” them. Many believe that contact between Max and a new crystal skull activates its energies. Stacie and I constructed a multi tiered crystal skull grid, with Max in the center of the top level on a light box.
