Petrified Wood Slab
Petrified wood is one of stones that I grab when I'm feeling emotionally wobby and in need of significant stability. Petrified wood is one of those elemental chameleons that began as a member of the plant kingdom and then hopped over to the mineral kingdom. Often, the patterns left in the wood toddle off into the animal kingdom or behave in some other way as a "figure stone", which means that the patterns look like something. It is incredibly good for grounding high light energies, creating balance and stability, protection, care, and endurance.
This slab is a really rare color with the deep rich red jasper that moves into a mauve color, then moves into the earth tones. The design at core of the slab was really interesting to me. I still can't decide if it has a bird like pattern, bear, or even feline. It might be a bit of a shape shifter. When things grab my attention, I usually throw some cards to get a better idea if there are unique energetic properties. I used Crystal Whisper Cards and Tarot together. I got really good repetitive traits. I translate it as this slab assists to provide a reliable source of strength and comfort for those who are seeking to be on a path of personal success that have come from a place of struggle and disappointment. It is an ally for one who needs strength, bravery, self-discipline, and patience.
You could use this slab as a way to charge fluid you drink by using it as a coaster. Also, it's just large enough to place stones on top of it in a smaller grid, such as with a prosperity grid. You could also use it as a place to empower written intentions or prayers. I would also use it at the belly/solar plexus for creative infusions and to activate personal will.
This slab is approximately 7 1/2 X 6 3/4 X 5/8" and weighs 1.79lbs.
