Natural Ruby Crystal Madagascar
Rubies make it into my top 10 most useful stones. When I'm feeling low on physical energy, I often grab some smaller ones as pocket rocks. I consider them to be power stones for many reasons. The ones that are in between deep red and purple tickle the root and crown chakras at the same time, which always has an opening and aligning action. Because of this, ruby is excellent for grounding, while at the same time keeping a good foothold in spiritual energy, wisdom, and centeredness. I like rubies for any kind of zooming up physical energy, especially when it is compromised in any way. Also, since psychic or clairvoyant work actually takes a boat load of physical energy to go well, I also grab ruby during energy work because it helps to fuel the amount of reserve I need to keep the doors open and the good stuff flowing. It's a great rock to use for Reiki as it would help the natural flow.
This is a sweet hunk of ruby. Like with the others, it would be good at the center of a grid, holding for meditation, or plopping between the legs for a chakra layout.
