This slab of Arakaria wood is from Madagascar. This Petrified Wood Slab has amazing colors! Check out the green! (It is even more green in person!) VERY RARE! You can also see a little bit of red and an orangey yellow. The cool grey color is very pretty, as well.
The rich color is evidence of mineral replacement, including iron, manganese, and silica.
