Smoky Amethyst Elestial Double Terminated "Dolphin" with Inclusions
Another "Crazy Everything" crystal that is a little bit of everything, all rolled into one.
Smoky and amethyst together tickle both the crown chakra and root chakra, which creates an alignment within the whole system, besides pulling double duty as both smoky quartz and amethyst.
The inclusions would be called lepidochrosite, rutile, and specular hematite in a general crowd... however, Christopher, who is a geology wizard, has informed me that almost all of the spangles, red glittery bits, threads, and gunmetal glittery bits in quartz are almost always iron gone wild, or hematite. Apparently, iron is a whole lot more sexy than we might have thought.
"Dolphin" is a quartz formation where it looks like there is a smaller point riding on the back of the larger one. The are sometimes also called "mother and child" quartz. In this case, the wee crystal is also double terminated.

This crystal measures approximately 2 7/8 X 2 1/2 x 1 3/4" and weighs approximately .57 lbs of Gimme Dat.
