Ocean Jasper and Septarian Nodule Pocket Rock Set
“Ocean jasper” displays white, green, pink, and red bands and eye like patterns. The name comes from the location of the mine, which is on the seashore, accessible only at low tide. Because of this connection to the sea, “ocean jasper” has many watery associations like purification, psychic development, and balancing the emotions.
A septarian nodule is a rounded gray limestone concretion with prominent cracking, filled with brownish orange aragonite and golden calcite crystals. They began underwater as mud balls, formed by decomposing marine life. The cracks that formed as they dried were later filled in with other minerals. Because of its watery origin, physical transformations, and golden filled cracks, septarian nodules are associated with emotional breakthroughs, releasing trauma, and protection.
